What is Meta-Aromatherapy?
Meta-aromatherapy is a is a therapy that combines aromatherapy with a range of other complementary disciplines in order to balance the mind, body and spirit.
Meta-aromatherapy evolved as a therapy in the 1990s.
How does Meta-Aromatherapy work?
The process of meta-aromatherapy is to achieve the client's optimum health through the mind, body and spirit balance, using the specific complementary techniques. The system assists the client progress through any emotional blocks that are holding them back from achieving their goals in life.
Meta-aromatherapy combines the ancient practise of aromotherapy with other holistic therapies to complement and enhance the aromatherapy.
These therapies include, art therapy, reiki, stress management, counselling, nutrition advice and specially developed Grovian hypnotherapy techniques. The Grovian techniques do not use a "trance" state, so is a more gentle way to resolve deep seated issues. The Grovian system use the client's own unique metaphors, for example, they may sense or see a shape, image or a colour which the therapist will work with until the metaphor (which represents the problem) is resolved, thus releasing the client from the problem.
What does Meta-Aromatherapy treatment involve?
A meta-aromatherapy session normally lasts between 60 and 90 minutes. The number of sessions required will depend on the individual.
After taking medical history, the therapist will carry out an aromotherapy massage using specific essential oils chosen for the client. The therapist next moves onto using Grovian hypnotherapy techniques. Other techniques may then be used, depending on the client's specific needs.
What can Meta-Aromatherapy help?
Chronic or persistent physically problems where emotional issues are likely to be the cause for the mind, body and spirit balance.
